Surprising things you should consider bringing to your boudoir session!
1. Your favorite food.
Don't be afraid to break the mold—whether it's donuts, pizza, sushi, or wine, incorporating your favorite foods adds a personal touch and a sense of comfort to your photo session.
2. Your favorite pieces of jewelry.
Showcase your unique style by bringing along meaningful jewelry; it adds a personal and sentimental dimension to your photos, making them truly one-of-a-kind. This can be your wedding ring, a sentimental necklace, or anything else to help zing your images.
3. Your lingerie.
Such a shocker! We do have a stacked boudoir closet, but if you've got an outfit that you feel super steamy in, go ahead and bring it! Bringing your own lingerie can help you feel more comfortable and beautiful during the shoot, reflecting your individual taste and style.
4. Your stockings or thigh highs.
They are great for accentuating legs! Especially with heels, everything looks smooth and classy. Elevate the elegance of your boudoir session by emphasizing your legs with stockings or thigh highs; it adds a touch of sophistication and enhances the overall aesthetic. Don't have any? Don't worry! We've got quite the collection of stockings at the studio!
5. Your props.
Don't forget to bring them! Your man's hat, your bridal veil, sports helmet, headphones, or even artsy props like perfume bottles! Infuse your photos with personality by bringing props that reflect your interests, relationships, or a touch of glamour—these items add a unique flair to your boudoir images. Contact us if you'd like some help with suggestions! We love coming up with creative prop ideas to help make your photos special and unique.
6. Eye Drops.
If your eyes dry out quickly and become irritated from makeup, you might want to purchase a bottle of eye drops to prevent this from happening! Ensure your eyes sparkle without discomfort; having eye drops on hand can refresh and prevent irritation, allowing your eyes to be bright and engaging throughout the session.
7. Backup lipstick.
It won't last all day and touching it up is a lifesaver. We offer hair and makeup services with our boudoir sessions, but for those of you who have a special lipstick you love, bring it along so our makeup artist can use it for you! Keep your look polished and flawless by having that backup lipstick for touch-ups.
